Ringorang is the American Lung Association’s digital engagement platform of choice as a compliment to the upcoming ALA fundraiser Champions Unite. This is a one-of-a-kind off-field talent show to support lung health for all, including overcoming COVID-19, tobacco control, youth anti-vaping, and clean air. It will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 and will serve as ALA’s largest virtual fundraising effort in the organization’s history.
The ALA will be marketing their new ChampionsUnite app (powered by Ringorang) to their 32,000 members. The Champions Unite event itself will be promoted to over 15 million people in Southern California. The public will be encouraged to download and use the app as a compliment to the event, learning about lung health and testing their knowledge of baseball trivia. Players will receive prizes and be eligible to enter into a sweepstakes through gameplay, as well as donate to the ALA cause. This enables the AmericanLung Association to fulfill on their global mission of education for lung health.
Ringorang was created in 2010 to provide a system for changing human behavior. Co-creatorsRobert Feeney and B. Wayne Barkley spent years in clinical trials with the U.S.Government and tested the app extensively with several Fortune 50 companies. The system is now fully commercialized and has received three patents for its proven ability to drive behavior change. The Ringorang solution is now a robust, enterprise-focused mobile app with desktop admin interface, designed to deliver gamified microlearning content to a distributed audience.

About the American Lung Association
The American Lung Association is saving lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. We were founded over 115years ago by a group of volunteers dedicated to ending the lung health threat of our time: tuberculosis. With TB largely controlled in the United States, we have extended that mission to other respiratory diseases. And thanks to our donors, volunteers, program and event participants, and staff, we are America’s trusted source for lung health education, lung disease research, support, programs, services and advocacy.
When you can’t breathe, nothing else matters.
